Bitter Coffee? Start With a Coarser Grind

Puck's daily nudge

If your brew tastes bitter, dry or harsh, the grind may be too fine, letting water pull out more than you want. Try grinding a little coarser, then brew again using the same coffee and method. Change one thing at a time so you can tell what actually improved the cup.

Try this today: Grind a little coarser, keep everything else the same, and taste again.
